S 2000 on the Track
I have a 2002 S2K and have heard that at the limit of adhesion (on a race track environment) the car gets very unpredicable and tends to break away very quickly and without warning. Does anybody out their have information about tracking the S2K? Thank you.
Hopefully we can get some of the track junkies to chime in, my track experience is limited to just a handful of events and I am sure I am not pushing the limits. Airsport, CoralDoc? anyone????
Yes, the S2000 has a tendency to oversteer at the limits ... reminiscent of the character of older 911s
. With the correct alignment and chassis tuning, this tendency can be diminished. I find that the S2000 is a very enjoyable car to drive on the track, come to one of the Chin Motorsports events and see what you think. Here's a link to the Chin Motorsports webpage. I'll be at the Homestead event on the 13th and 14th of December - look for a white Miata with a red roof, #200.
