I totally agree! Tires are the only thing touching the ground. They are also what hold you on a turn, help in braking, and keep you on the road. This would be true for any car. But is especially true for the S2000.

Dunlop Direzza sport Z1 starspecs are a very well rounded, very sticky tire for an awesome price. Good wet traction, ridiculous dry traction, good longevity, etc.

I put 6 or 7 track days and about 4000 street miles on mine. The fronts are fine. The rears are just at the wear markers. Thats a TON of useage.

 

Thanks for all the input. I'm going to try going with a tire I can get through work. Looking at the Continental or Bridgestone g-force. I'll read some more threads too for more input. I don't need them right now but soon. I like to research first so I don't waste money.
