Default S2000 BBS rims

So I was looking for a set of jdm (bbs) rims.......
and I got a quote from my friend that it costs 1300 CDN PER RIM at the dealer!!
dats 5200 CDN, or 4000 USD for the set.......... holy smokes, that's some crazy ass expensive rims there.........
IMO, I think its an extremely rip off just to save 2 pounds, I'd get VOLK or sth and pay way less............

What's your input on this??

The rims are worth a lot to people especially autocrossers because they are Stock class legal.

These sell on the boards occasionally, they typically go for $1600-1800.

For that much money, you could get new BBS forged 17" RGR's. Not SCCA stock class but they sure are pretty and lightweight
