s2000 modulo wheels
So, i picked up this set of modulo rims in s2000 fitment- that is- Front 17x7 with 55 offset, and Rear 17x8.5 with 63 offset. Picked them up in toronto today.
When was the last time you saw a pair? It took some digging around here, but they are a little on the weighty side- F are 21 lbs, R are 22 lbs- But really, not that far off the weight of AP2V2 or V3 rims. With the right, lightweight tire, they can be a more "reasonable" weight. We'll see how they measure up.
Currently fitted with Continental Slicks for track days- used maybe once or twice in a 225 45r17 size at all 4 corners. Although, they are actually closer to a 235 width.

as my dad would say, "rare as hens teeth." i know of 2 sets in ontario, but i imagine there a few others floating around. i've never actually seen them on the street, however. I'll see how they do this year and if i feel like the car feels too numb, i'll move on to something else.
