Default Should I sell my 18s?

I bought my AP2 about 3 months ago, it came with 18 inch Enkei rims.
I have read a lot of people say that 18s slow you down considerably. Do you think that it would be worth it to sell them and buy either OEM AP2 rims, or other 17s?

Thanks for any help,
Lorenzo

If I do decide to sell my Enkeis and get some 17s, which rims would be a good choice.
They would need to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of how much I could get for my Enkeis.

it depends on what you are looking for in a wheel and your budget...also what 18s do you currently have and the tires.

don't man, stick with the 18's, 17's look annoyingly small on the s2k. better stance with 18's even if they do slow your start a little.

The 18" wheels don't always slow you down. It is based off the weight of the wheels and there are some 18" that are actually lighter than the factory wheels. If you like the look there is no need to change. If you are not tracking the car it is never going to matter anyway.

They are ENKEI PK6,
I am going to try to find out the weight of them, does anyone know the weight of the stock rims?

Does any one know if heavier rims only slow you down from a dig, or if they slow you down all the time?

Thanks for the replys.

one word on whether to sell or not. NO. if the car feels slower, make it faster

car will be slower all the time. part of the problem is if you plus size the tire, it effects gearing. for instance, i have 265 35 18 on back, which is like putting in taller gears. more then anything i think this is what i notice.

just keep them on and raise power a bit.
