Thumbs up Sidewall Question?

Ok, I'm hoping that some of the experts can help direct me in the right direction. I just picked up an s2k from twincamvtec. the car is slammed on tein RA's running 17x8, 17x9 +45's. I like the ride height and am not against getting the fenders rolled. right now the car has 245/40 BFG KDs on the back and they rub like all hell on any bump. they need to be replaced anyway so I need to do this soon. i heard from aaron (twincamvtec) that the KDW's have more of a rounded sidewall to them in comparison to the KD. anyone know if this is the case? also does anyone know of a 245/40 that isnt going to rub as much? the car looks to be running some negative camber in the back but i dont know what the numbers are. so......will rolling the fenders solve all my problems or is there a tire choice or camber that i can run to reduce the rubbing until i can get the fenders rolled? i like the look of the 245/40 and the extra rubber kind of makes up for the very stiff suspension if that makes sense. i appreciate any help i can get on this subject.

usually rolling fenders and some camber solve the rubbing problems...or you could try to see if a smaller (like a 235) tire stretched will clear...

i have a suggestion that you haven't put to thought yet......since the car is ''SLAMMED'' maybe you can just raise it up a bit and run the tires that you like....and rolling the fenders wouldnt hurt

well where is the fun in that! i would like to solve the rubbing issue without raising the car, but if im not satisfied i probably will raise it up a little.

i know the new ''look'' is to slam the s2k but this is a rear wheel drive s2000 not a civic, so no need to drag it on the floor

I think you have the right idea of rolling the fenders and then run more negative camber and you should be good. There is not another size tire to run on the wheels you have. SOme tires do run a little narrower than others.
