Default Sizing problem for my track tires.

I have Volk CE28N's in 17x7.5 +55 front and 17x9 +63. I want to run Nitto NT-01 for track/autox use. I would go with hoosiers, but I have no way to get them to events. I will be able to drive on the NT-01's to/from events.

Anyway, I want to run a 235/275 setup. The problem is that I can't find a 275/35. It looks like my only options are:

Front- 235/45/17 or 235/40/17
Rear- 275/40/17

I realize that 275/35 is the ideal profile for a 17" wheel, but unfortunately that size is not available.

I have heard some say that the 275/40 will mess with the ABS... others say that it wont. Can someone give me a definitive answer? What are my options here?

I can't answer this, but I'd like to know too. I'm planning on putting the 275/40/17 nitto's on my car, and haven't heard of an ABS problem before. Nitto makes a 275/35/18, which might be the way to go, but then we'd have to change our wheels.

I was informed by Jim at Tire Rack that the ABS sensors measures a ratio of wheels speed on the front and back, so as long as you run a corresponding tire on the front you should be fine. He advised me to go with 275/40 on the rear and 245/45 on the front. The tires should be here by the end of the week and I'll be autoxing on sunday. I'll let you know how things go.
