spacing stock wheels.
curious what you guys think...
i LOVE my ap2 wheels.
in fact, i think they're better looking than 75% of aftermarket wheels.
i'm not a big suspension guy.
i like the way the car handles now, it can outdrive me.
however.
i really, really like the agressive stance of aftermarket wheels.
i mean wheels flush to the fenders, agressvie offsets..
would it be completely unsafe, impractical and insane to think i can use spacers on my oem wheels?
i would like to space them out a few MM, making them more even with the fenders.
am i at risk of having them rip off the car, destroying wheel bearings, or anything similar?

I don't see why not. Just make sure you get hubcentric ones like the H&R DRS that come with extended studs if you're planning to go over 5mm. If you're going 25mm and up, just get the adapter which is bolt on plug and play.
Are the spacers w/ studs (Project Kics) safe? As I understand it, the Kics spacer is bolted down by the OEM studs & the you'll use the Kics studs to bolt the wheels. Would it be safer to get ARP extended studs & get regular spacers?
