spare tire size
Hi,
I tried searching, but no luck. After 2 years of driving around, just recently found out I didn't have a spare tire. I bought one from a forum member, but was just curious if it was the right size. The wheel size was 16, which sounded right, but when I put it up against the other tires, the diameter seems much smaller. I would mention the exact size of the spare I have, but unable to since I am currently at my desk at work. I just wanted confirmation that the diameter of the spare should be smaller than the full sized wheels+tires. Thanks.

Thanks. yeah I already read other posts regarding the "never put the spare on the rear if you love your diff". I was just curious whether I had the correct spare tire for the s2000, since it seemed way smaller than I would have expected.

Well, it is called a "compact spare".
Just make sure the bolt pattern is meant for the car in case they gave you one from another kind of car.
