Default spoon rims

Hi, I wanted to know if the spoon sw388 rims fit/ride nicely on the s2000, if so what size, offsets, etc. Does anyone have any pics on the car. Also, I haven't checked yet, but I'm sure they are probably expensive so are there any replica's or similar wheels for a good price? Let me know I really like these style wheels. thanks - Sean

I don't carry the wheels so I can't tell you if they will work or not. If you get me the offset and the sizes I can help.

Jim, thanks for the reply, I found a similar looking rim and it's called the "ROTA Slipstream" this is the rim info they had posted on their site for available sizes, let me know if you think they're any good or will fit properly:

16 x 8.0 +48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

16 x 7.0 +40/+45/+48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

16 x 6.5 +40/+45 4h/5h x 100/114.3

15 x 7.0 +35/+40 4h/5h x 100/114.3

15 x 6.5 +40/+45 4h/5h x 100/114.3

16 x 8.0 +20 4 x 100

The wheels are Desmond Regamasters and they no longer make the spoon wheels. They did make spoons in a 16 inch that do fit the S2000. Sorry I cant recall the offsets.

Desmond Regamasters are available at modacar.com, jhpusa.com (I think) and wheelchoice.com I think Takumi project can also get them.

Desmond also makes a 17 inch Regamaster. these wheels are very lightweight and very strong. They come in White, silver, gun metal. (black was only for the Spoon version)

Rotas are not that strong (cast wheel not forged) They are light weight and if your looking for a copy of a high end JDM wheel they are the place to go. I dont believe their offsets are optimized for the S2000 though.

Good Luck

I'm sorry but I don't know a lot about the sizes and meaning of offsets. I've been diected to the link for offsets but I still don't understand it. I just want to know if they'll fit/ride on the car without any issues. Also, does anyone have any photos, I want to see what they would look like on stock suspension height. Please let me know - thanks

A 45mm front offset would be better unless you are choosing the low 35 mm offset to fit around a BBK.
