Default SSR GT7's! anyone with pics

Finally some wheels with proper offsets for this car. I haven't seen any pics yet but surely someone has these?

17x7 front with a +50 offset and 16.3 lbs
17x8.5 rear with a +62 offset and 17.6 lbs

If someone has pictures please post!

I'm interested in SSR GT-7H also from Tire Rack, but other than the banner add
I don't think anyone is the world has put them on a S2000.

I'm thinking of S-03 225/40-18 Front
265/35-18 Rear or 255/35-18 Rear.

Jim @ TireRack if you read this please advise!!!!!!!

Thank you!

only problem is that the 17's have superior offsets to the 18's. You are going to have to have some healthy neg camber to fit 265's or 255's on those wheels. It lists the 9.0 inch rears as a +55 offset. I'm thinking about a 66-67mm offset for that width to give good clearance with reasonable neg. camber

Ahh, isn't it at the top of the screen when you enter the wheel and tire forum?

I just bought these wheels but have not wrapped them with rubber and installed them. Will probably go with 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 as Jim at the Tire Rack said that because of such excellent offsets, this setup should work even if the car is lowered.

Hopefully I'll get the tires within a week or so and install my H&R coilovers as well so I can snap a couple of pic's.

UPS dropped off ONE SSR GT7H wheel with Kumho rubber at my house today--three more due tomorrow! They are Silver 18's, and will go on my 2000 Silverstone.

Also being installed are Eibach springs/Ground Control suspension setup, which allows the ride height to be adjusted, AND a StopTech 328mm Big Brake Kit. I chose these wheels because they are not only light, but allow the use of the StopTech kit WITHOUT spacers--hopefully.

MANY PICTURES TO FOLLOW!

CordyCord,
The SSR GT7H you got are 18's correct? If so, I'm really really looking forward
to pictures!!!!! What size tires did you purchase? Please keep us posted.
I'm concerned now about the offset of the tires.

Thanks!!!!!

I've got 225/40 - 18 front and 255/35 - 18 rears. They are the stock offsets offered at the Tire Rack, and Jim swears that they'll fit with no problem. I got the Ground Control adjustable suspension collars so that I could drop the car about 1", and adjust if there was excess "scrape-age". We'll see.

The 17" offsets do fit better and will allow more clearance. I have used the 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 no problem on the car. The banner at the top of the page is the 18". They are tight but they did fit. They have the same width and offset as the SSR Comps in the 18". If you go with the 245/35R18 rear they will be no problems. If the 255/35R18 is used you may have to roll the fender lips or run more negative camber.
If I can help let me know.
