Default SSR SP1 17" questions

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience w/ the SSR SP1 and these specs,

17x8 + 49 front
17x9.5 +55 rear
(i think its a pretty common offset)
Tire size is 225/45/17front 245/40/17 rear.

I'm currently stock ride height, and i'm not having any rubbing issues at all but,
the car is in desperate need of some kind of drop

I'm thinking either the Eibach Springs (1" drop) or Tanabe GF210 (0.8" all around) Also i want to upgrade the rears to 255s instead of the 245s but i can live w/ the 245s if i need to.

Does anyone know if i'll have some rubbing issues? Or if i'll need to roll the fenders? I've searched the forums w/ SP1, SSR SP1, ect, and i haven't found anything that is close to this. Everyone seems to either have the better offset in 17s or the same offset as me but in 18s. (i think it may be a 9.0 rear for 18)

If anyone has these offsets of experience with it please let me know.
Thanks for the imput!!
-Marty

1. i have the exact same wheels as you and i'm running 225-45 in front and 255-40 rear and so rubbing whatsoever. my fenders are not rolled/pulled.

2. i'm lowered on the tanabe gf210 and it still gives a good ~two fingers gap all around.

3. i'm planning on switching to 265 or possibly 275 soon with rolled fenders (maybe with some camber too) and see how it fits.
