Default SSR's on special at Tirerack.....

Just an FYI that the SSR GT1 in 17*7.5 and the SSR Integral in 16*8 and 17*8 are on special:

Looks like you could get these wheels with tires and shipping for under $2000. Not bad at all.

Tirerack also carrys Eibach and H&R Suspension, and EBC Brake Pads for the s2000.

Thanks for the add. We are currently making an 18" SSR Competition for the car as well. We should have those into us by the end of the year. It will even be lighter than the other SSR wheels, great for racing.
If you have any questions let me know.
Thank you

Jim -

1) thanks for sponsoring the board. i know that many of us appreciate your opinions and our access to your experience. (it doesn't hurt to get good deals on tires and wheels either).

2) i wanted to throw my hat in the ring for the 17" compettitions.

I'm seriously considering going for a plus one tire and wheel combo when my OEM tires finally give up the ghost. Although I really like the look of an 18" wheel, I can't justify the extra cost, increased weight (of the tire if not the wheel), deterioration in ride quality and the higher likelihood of bending a rim on a gnarly pothole. I think a 17" wheel is a better solution, for me.
