I'm thinking about mounting steel wheels on the car for the winter. 16x6.5 all around. 55mm offset. I know it won't be perfect, but will it work for the winter? Thanks.

 

works for me - 3 winters with no problems

 

Just resist the urge to drive like a fool on those winter days when the roads are clear. (Or you'll be posting up one of those "Spun around, crashed into a concrete divider, This Car Is Unsafe" type of threads.)
