Default Stock AP2V2 Wheel Question

I'm going to be getting my stock AP2V2 wheels refinished before the season starts, however I would like to know more about the stock wheel finish before I send them in. I want to make sure that I get them as close to original as possible. It appears to me that the spoke faces and lip of the stock wheels are more shiny and smooth than other parts of the wheel. So, which one of the following finishes is correct...

A) The face is machined, then paint is applied over the entire wheel
B) The entire wheel is painted, then the face is machined
C) Some other method that I didn't think of

Cheers!

I am not sure but our wheels would be painted and then the parts of the wheel are polished and then clear coated.
