Default Stock PSI

I realize that 32PSI is the Defacto for the stock bridgestones on AP2 but will bumping them up a few pounds help improve handling without shortening the life of the tire ?

Also, will bumping them in either direction improve gas mileage ?

Thanks,

if you add a few more psi you should get better gas mileage, but the handling decreases and the middle of the tread will wear out faster, just from my experiences/learned at work

At the Porsche driving school I went to they recommended to go a couple PSI more for better handling. A couple PSI more is not going to change your tread life or mileage.
