Default taking these wheels apart

I want to take these wheels apart to be able to do a deep detailing, anything i should know about when undoing the hex screws? are there torque specs for the small nuts? would hate to have the wheels come apart when im driving! or tighting so much i might snap something... is it even possible take them a part? would it mess up the balance completely or something?

thanks alot in advance guys

Yup i have when i had the lips clear coat taken off and Polished, i think i put them to about 30 fp-lb. Re-checked them about a week and they seem to hold fine, also used some blue locktite for added security,
Go to sears and find a socket with the allen key it will save a lot of time. Just be careful when you remove them.

I would double check the feasibility of taking them apart with the manufacturer.

My kinesis wheels require a 16ft/lbs for torque but there are 40 per wheel, way less than what you have. I would contact Volk to be sure.

The nuts/bolts on BBS LM's have to be torqued to 18ftlbs and use blue loctite. I did a set 5 years ago and they are still fine
