Actually if you guys go check out some websites, the tein s-tech springs are listed as 1.2 drop in the front and 0.9 in the back. I believe that is a little more accurate.
I just installed s-techs today on my 18" TE37s. It only rubbed when I was on the freeway and there was a big dip. Other than that, it's fine. Looks good too.
since we'r discussing 18'' rims with tein s tech springs.. i have few questions that maybe someone can help me answer.. i got the tein s springs and im looking at 18'' staggered wheels, what offset/tires would i use if im planning on getting 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5rear that wouldn't rub??? i was looking at Volk GTP's.. but then i read something about not finding right offset with volk..? thanks in advance..
OK....Our cars come with +55 offset (front) and +65 offset (rear). If you buy any size wheel with offsets close to these you will not rub. Not many wheels are made with such high offsets, so do some research and choose carefully. If you buy a rear wheel with a low offset such as +47 you will rub if you lower it to much.
Lowered on Tein S.Tech.........1" drop all around
will the tein springs "flatten" the car out? I am tired of seeing my car on a slant, and would like to make the front and back even. I love the s-tech (affordably and gooddrop) but i need to know if it will make the car level, or will the ass end still be up in the air a bit?

As posted previously by Unit-X, your question has been answered. Also the picture right above your post explains quite a bit too.
" So when you drop your car 1 inch... and you are on 18"Volks... your tire will rub? "
Yes. Unless you roll your fenders. The best spring to use to minimize rubbing on 18's as far as I know is the Eibach Pro Kit. If you run through a dip you will still rub a bit but other than that you should be fine. Not so sure about the Tein-S though and would like to hear experience from someone who has had it for more than a day.

Unfortunately, the only volk wheel that is made with s2000 offsets are the 17" ce28ns. Some people use 245's in the back instead of 255's to help with the rubbing but it makes the tire look funny. Bionic man pretty much nailed it regarding offsets but idealy you want to be atleast 50 in the back.
I just got 18" LE37T's. They are F18x7.5 with +48 offset and R18x8.5 with +50 offset and i have 225/40 and 255/35 tires on the way. Are these not the proper offsets and am i going to have rubbing issues if i do indeed decide to do a mild lower??
