Default Thinking about it...

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get some new wheels for my car and I just needed some opinion and help on the fitment of the wheels. Right now I have stock ap1 wheels and I am looking to upgrade to 17x8.5 +20 and 17x10 +20. The front wheels are going to have a 3 in lip and the rear are going to have a 4in lip. My fenders are also currently stock and I know that I will definitely need to roll them and more then likely pull them. Sorry I do not know much about fitment but I've been researching just haven't come across too many information I can use.

Research more. The edge of the wheel is going to stick out (be further out) 54 mm from stock...that is a little over 2 inches. The rear will stick out about 64 mm more or 2.5 inches...not even a pull will work without running extremely skinny tires. Do you value performance?

These wheels won't fit with stock fenders, regardless of what you do to them. You'll either need a widebody kit, overfenders, or to find different wheels.

I think it's less of a trend and more people just having no clue what they're doing. They go out and find some wheels they like, then make them fit without any regard to the fit or balance to the vehicle.
