Time to replace the OEM rears!
Hey Jim,
I need to get some rear tires for my 2000 S2000.
I have stock wheels.
The tires are BFGoodrich - g-Force T/A KDWS
Fronts: 205/55/ZR16 90% Tread left
Rear: 225/50/ZR16 0% Tread left (needs to be replaced)
I was told i can get 245/45 for the rears.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Matt

I don't have a limit on the budget. I just bought these wheels and tires from another member on the board and thats what i have to work with.
I've had S02's, S03's and Azenis 615's in the past on my car.
I'm going to be driving alot for work now....at least 60 miles a day.
The S2000 will be my only car. Snow and ice won't be a factor however.
What do you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

60 mile a day!! Wow...you are going to go through tires fast.
The oem S02 are probably the best for the car, but at their price you will be spending a ton on tires to keep them in good shape.
There are many less expensive performance tires out there, but I think I would recommend the Yokohama ES100. They tend to wear well and they are decent all-around performers but not stellar in any one performance catagory. Hankook RS2 is another option, but they will wear more quickly (luckily they are also cheap).

Depending on how you drive you could look at a tire like the Fuzion ZRI if you change all four tires. If not I would just match what you have with on the front and then go to a different tire the next time.
If I can help let me know.
