Tire bead leaking problem
I mounted on some 235/40/17's on 17x9 VS-XX but on of my wheels have a bad leak. The leak is coming from the bead and when you push on the tire's sidewall, it lets out a gasp of air. I was thinking that the rim was bent but when I inspected it, there was no dent in sight. Also when the tire is nearly flat the leak moves to a different area of the bead.
I also noticed that when driving, that the tire is a bit loud
So here is my questions:
Should "bead seal" hold up to the leak and serve as a permanent fix?
Or should I go ahead and get a new tire? (last resort)
Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated!
