Default tire options?

I've been kicking around the idea of putting on 225/50r16 205/50r16 falken 452's on stock ap1 wheels, I know i may get a off speedometer as a negitive and possibly worse gas mileage on the freeway. Those are the two negitive things I can think of. Plus's would be that the tire weights 2 pounds less and the weight is closer to the center of the wheel. That shoud make things easier for the car also a smaller diameter would act similair to gears equaling faster acceleration Im hoping I know its not going to be treamendous but its something I've been wanting to try and It's not permanent if it dosent work out, I work at a tire shop to so It will cost me about 400 dollars for the set. I dont want to really hear the haters Lets hear from the hopefuls. I do plan on getting coilovers first so it will be proportionate. The tires are about an inch shorter so it will lower the car a half inch, more than that it probably wouldnt look right. Thoughs opinions concerns. I know theres someone out there whos done this???

I don't think it's going to make much difference in any way, shape or form. If you want to do it, do it. This is the second thread you've made on the topic. And both were in the wrong subforum.

You know, we have a wheel and tire subforum. And for your muffler post, we have a modifications and parts subforum.
