Default Tire options v12 evos/s drive/sumitomo

Just wanted to post up a quick question. I have been doing a lot of research on tires for my rpf1s. I recently got a set of 17x9 rpf1s with tires for a good deal and the tires they came with up front are horrible nexen 215s which are stretched and I can't stand the look of a stretched tire as well in the rain it is terrifying to drive. So I want to go to a squared setup. My rear tires are 235/45/17 falken 912s which aren't bad. My question is I was looking into hankook v12s,Yokohama s drives or a set of sumitomo III. What are you guys running and what are you reviews on these tires. I never considered the 912s all around I guess I could look into that. The v12s are my top pick but I read up and down reviews. Also I'm currently lowered on skunk springs and will get my fronts rolled. Maybe I should go with a 40 series tire but I would prefer the thicker sidewall.

Out of that group, which ever is cheapest. I have the hankooks on all for, however I have a buddy with the sumo's and he loves them. IMO the hankooks are a step up from the s.drives. I have the s.drives for 3 years. Thicker side wall=softer side wall with the hankooks

Out of those I would pick the Sumitomo or the Hankooks. Although I (and many others on here) highly recommend the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs.

go hankook simply because it's a good tire and comes with an $80 rebate right now. that makes for some really inexpensive tires.

I've ran the Hankook V12 evos. Not a bad tire for the price, great for a DD or casual spirited driving. Good in the rain as well. I hated the soft sidewall though. It is noticeable if you are coming from stiff-walled tires. The mold release compound also takes forever to wear off (like 800 miles) so they are super squirmy for the first little while. I'm with the other recommendations so far - it's probably draws between the Sumitomos and the Hankooks.

had the sumitomos, just put on the hankooks due to being cheaper -they feel the same.

For a DD i like both. for anything other than DD/spirited driving , i'd probably get something better

Basically I want to feel stable in the rain as well as having a good tire for spirited driving. I had to put my stocks back on because the front Tires on my wheels were so scary in the rain. When I switch lanes with the current tires it's pretty damn nerve racking so I don't want to do deal with that. I have heard that the v12s have a soft sidewall which concerned about. Looks like out of the 3 so far it is what you guys prefer.

I have HTZ IIIs and its a decent tire for the price. I have 0 issues driving in the rain, tires have a stiff sidewall too. They seem to last long too, I beat on mine and they seem to keep going.
