Default tire pressure

Just bought an my05 s2k and checked everything out beforehand and still checking tech bulletins etc. question is with every fluid level, fluid type rear axle nuts retorque properly etc etc in perfect order why did the oem rear tires have 46 pounds pressure each wheel and the front tires have the specified 32 pounds? Has this something to do with how the car was being driven? like around in smokey circles or something? car runs great and has 40000 miles on it but i can't understand the high rear tire pressure

You don't need to understand it, you just need to adjust it.

Most likely they mounted the tires with that much pressure to seat the beads and didn't adjust it back down, and p.o. didn't check. That happens *all the time*.

How would we know any better than you? None of us had any direct experience with your car and there are any number of possible reasons. The why doesn't matter. Adjust it, as stated above.
