Default Tire questions !

It's that time of the year again to buy some tires.

My current setup is
Front: 205/45/16 Rear: 205/50/16

I want to go a little wider in the rear

So this is the current setup I want to do.
Front: 205/45/16
Rear: 215/40/16

Any opinions on the rear? I'm ready for my flame suit
Btw I'm kinda slammed that's why I went with a smaller tire bur still handles great for me. Thanks!

Why don't you just raise the rear a tad and put a stock sized 225 on?..

Very poor tire selection in those sizes. MUCH better selection in OEM sizes (205/55-16 f, 225/50-16 r).
If you *could* get a decent tire in those sizes, still would be a bad choice (fronts taller than rears).

Do you have rubbing issues front and rear, or just up front? If only up front, you might get away with 205/50-16 f, 225/50-16 r. But again, the best tire choices are going to be in stock sizes.
