Mine have just over 30K miles on the rear tires and they are just about to get to the wear bars.

For those of you with the Dunlops, how do they do when the temperature starts to drop? I'm currently running HTR ZIIIs, and they don't really get sketchy until the temperature drops into the 20s.

I've had to drive mine in the snow before with the Star Specs. Was a little scary, not too bad though. I've also done dry / mid-20s. Felt fine, I didn't really get aggressive or anything but the car felt normal.

hmm trying to decide between the sport maxx TT's or the yokohama s. drives for my ap1 on 16's. Any of you guys have any input as to which is the better performer in the dry? I live in sunny san diego, so rain isnt that bad around here, not only that I dont DD the s2 (at most 6k miles/year) and have a celica with all seasons for all the daily duties.

Sport Maxx TT is a higher-performance tire than the S.Drive.

Conti SportContact 3's don't come in 16" sizes.

Conti ExtremeContact DW and Dunlop Sport Maxx TT are likely your best options for the AP1 if you don't have to worry about snow/ice/cold. I went with the Sport Maxx TT.

ever consider the ventus v12 from hankook? seems like a decent tire and did fairly well when stacked up against the star specs...price is great for the miles and performance.
