The story as old as sports cars themselves. 
If the girlfriends cant deal with the car and my spirited driving they don't last long. The car brings me far too much joy to be precluded from my life how I see it fit. Women come and go, but my highly modded S2k is forever

Hi, do you mind taking a picture of your rear tire? I'd like to see how much of a tire stretch it is on the S007A mounted on OEM wheels. I'm extremely interested in S007A, but it doesn't come in 255/40 and I've noticed some 245/40 tires on OEM rear wheels provided too much of a tire stretch than I would like. I'm currently running 255/40 S-04's in the rear on OEM AP2v2 wheels, perfect looking (tires are not stretched nor bulged out like SUV tire). If you could share a pic on your rear tires, that'd be great, thanks in advance!

Thanks Fuoss! They look very good! When I saw the tread width of 8.3" on Tirerack for 245/40, I expected them to be a little stretched on the OEM rears, but they came out perfect in your pics. Gonna get the S007A when my S-04's are done. Thanks and very clean garage too

The Continental ECS are a high quality, quiet tire. For street driving, especially in potentially wet and cool climates, they work well. For very aggressive driving they won't last as long, but then again none of these tires will. The Michelin is significantly more expensive, but better for track oriented driving. If it's a street car in oem sizing and you're only doing back roads, I'd get the contis given the price. Darcy did a YouTube review of them I agree with, I think his channel is something like "driving with Darcy".
It's hard to find a tire that suits the S without sticking with the extreme category, you need the stiff(er) sidewall for that.

I know tires keep getting better however I can't help but miss the aesthetics of some of the old tires.
I loved the meaty smooth look of the RE-01r on my 16" wheels back in the day. I have a set ECS tires on the same wheels and they look pretty sad in comparison.
