Default tire size

Hankook RS2

Front 205/55/16 contact patch 8.3
Rear 225/50/16 contact patch 9.1
or
Rear 245/45/16 contact patch 9.3

which one should I use for the rear?

wont the 245 be too big for the width of the ap1 rim?

help please

No, this is the typical aftermarket tire replacement size for AP1. The following may be of interest to you:

To stay with almost the smae contact patch as stock the 245/45R16 and 205/55R16 is the way to go.

oem 225/50/16 contact patch 9.2
hankook rs2 225/50/16 contact patch 9.1
hankook rs2 245/45/16 contact patch 9.6

isnt the 225 with 9.1 contact patch closer to oem?

Where are you getting these numbers from? Here is a Hankook table I found for the RS2:

According to this, those tire sizes don't come anywhere near what you've got posted.
I see 7.6" for the 225 and 8.7" for the 245.

i seen the link its 7.5, Bridgestone site is listed at 7 inches
