Can I fit 235/45/17 Goodyear GS-D3 to the front of my 2005?
Will I have any fitment, rubbing or handling issue?
Thanks for any comments.

You are putting a tire on a wheel that normally takes one that is 20mm narrower (215). That's almost an inch. You will have to reduce tire pressure just to get the tire to wear the same way. This will also make for a more "spongy" ride up front and mushy turn in.
A 225 tire up front will rub slightly on a hard, uphill right hander due to suspension compression. A 235 tire will only aggravate this situation.
By putting a 235 tire on the front, you are reducing the designed stagger that Honda meant for this car. Normally, the car has 215 in front and 245 in back. You will have only a 10 mm stagger. The car will have more grip up front than before, making it more tail happy.
You can get away with it as long as you understand the above limitations and drive accordingly. Failure to do so could result in some pain and suffering.
