Default WHICH TIRES?

I am trying to decide between BFGoodrich G-Force Sport and Bridgestone Potenza RE750. Both have 340 treadwear. I have used the BFGoodrich before but was wondering if anyone can compare the two. Also, I am running 17x7(f) and 17x8

Have you read the forum stickies? Regardless of which tire you choose (I have run the 750's and they aren't bad for a 340 treadwear tire, though they don't last even 2x as long as the stockies). IMO you should be running a 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 with your setup assuming your offsets are good.
Cheers,
M

with the tire size Mike recommends.

I've never run the 750s...but wonder why you would not run the oem RE050 for the ap2 since they will fit the wheels you have on your ap1.

I see. My offsets are +47 all around. How would the RE050's last twice as long with a 140 treadwear rating though?

What I meant to say, was that you'd think the RE750's would last more than 2x the OEM RE050's since the treadwear ratings are 340 and 140 respectively. but in my experience they lasted about 1.5 times the RE050's We'll say 12K or so for the rears vs. 8K with the OEM's (RE050's)

Oh okay. I see. So I should change my tire sizes for sure?

As for the size I'd definitely go with stock AP2 sizes 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 any wider though and I think you'll possibly rub with those offsets.
Good Luck,
M
