Default Toyo Proxes T1R released

They are supposed to be an improvement over the T1S, with claimed better dry and wet perfomance, and increase sidewall rigidity for better steering response. I wonder how they compare to the S02's. I guess I'll give them a try to find out (as long as they are cheaper than the Bridgestones).

They have it in all sizes needed for stock rims. I just wonder if these tires will also need the "245 instead of 225 for the rear" correction.

205/55ZR16 91W
225/50ZR16 92W
245/45ZR16 94W

215/45Zr17 91W
245/40ZR17 95W

Prices look to be a little cheaper than the T1-S.

I'm very interested in a review of these. Once my re050s wear out, I'll be considering the Falken RT615, Kumho MX, and possibly the Yoko AD07. If the T1Rs get good reviews, those will be included also. The MX is at the bottom of my list, tho it's the lowest priced. I'd like to see more reviews on the RT615s...so far, I've just read 1 that said turn-in isn't quite as good as stock but otherwise very grippy. Anyone know where other RT615 reviews are? The AD07 reviews have been good, but they're the priciest. If the T1R or RT615 can offer 90-95% the performance of the AD07s, I'd be fine with those.

You shouldnt pass up the Kumho MX just because it is the cheapest, you will be surprised by their performance.

Crap...I paid the same price as the T1S for them. I thought that they would cost more, the sales dude tricked me.

SpeedxRacer: I'm not overlooking the MX. From the reviews I've read, they're a great tire and many even track with them w/o overheating probs. The RT615s are presumed to be grippier tho and don't cost too much more. In the end, it will likely come down to those 2 since the AD07s are a bit pricey for me, and depending on the reviews of the T1R.

I wish the RT615's were available in AP1 sizes.

So has anybody had these on their S2000 long enough to give us some feedback?
