Default Tpms activation

Hello. I searched a bit and couldn't find the information I was looking for so posting up hoping for some info.

If there a tool or something that can start a relearn process for my 08 without having to go to the dealer? My previous vehicles had a tool that started the process and then I would use my other tool that would trigger each tpms at the wheel.

Planning on running 2 sets of rims and would really like it if I didn't have to run to the Honda dealership each time. Maybe this feature is built into the flashpro?

There are aftermarket sensors that can be cloned to your current sensors. They use the same codes, so all you do is swap wheels and go.

I don't remember seeing anything having to do with TPMS in the FlashPro software. I would sell your 08 and buy an 06.

Haha. Maybe. Seems I have a few options regarding how to use the tpms in multiple rims.

I do like having tpms though. Gives you a heads up before you shred the tires.

Thanks everyone.

I put a piece of electrical tape over the light in my 2010 Civic. Problem solved!

Except you can't disable traction control via the button without them being set up.

I use the ATEQ quickset http://www.amazon.com/ATEQ-QuickSet-.../dp/B008SCWXN4

It reads the sensors from the car for the stock sensors but you will need to go to a shop or buy a tool to read the sensors that you have gotten with your new wheels. Tire rack doesn't give them to you -_-.

In the end I spent $350. $150 for quickset and $200 for a TPMS sensor reader but considering it technically pays for itself after 2 changeovers and it works on multiple cars. I think it's worth it. I also use the TPMS reader to check tire pressures.

Apparently shops like pep boys will read the sensors for free.
