Default Tyre Longevity

Hello S2KI,

I recently ordered 4 x Toyo T1R 225 / 50 / 16, after doing a little research after ordering I discovered I needed 205 / 55 / 16 on the front.

Anyway I have just received the 4 for the rear and am going to fit a pair and keep a pair for the future.

My question is this: How long will the tyres last being kept in my shed, which is 100% sheltered with no water ingress. |I plan the new rears lasting me 12 months so will the spares be good to use in 12 months time?

Cheers

Mike

As long as the tires aren't exposed to the elements they can last much longer than 12 months in storage. I'd have no concerns as long as you kept them covered up.

Thanks
