Default Tyre question

Hello,

Some questions to the tyre experts. I need a help on this if you can give me. I have a 2004 S2000 with stock wheels and i have found quite cheap a set of goodyear eagle F1 GSD3 but with lower profile. I mean instead of 245/40/17 is 245/35/17 and instead of 215/45/17 is 215/40/17. These tires are also advertised as V profile. So

1)What is your opinion on the Goodyear F1 eagle's
2) What efect will have these sizes over the stock sizes
3) What is the V profile?

I would appreciate any help on this

Thanks
Chris

The tire themselves are great, but Im not sure how well the sizing will work. I do know it will throw your speedometer off, which in turn throws your odometer off unless you get them both calibrated (modifry's yellowbox does this). And I have no clue on the V profile. maybe something to do with the tread pattern?

Personally, Id pass and get something in the right size.
