Hi all,

I've been trying to do research on fitment (new to the s2k world) and I've pre-ordered the new Weds as per the specs below. From my understanding these should clear a BBK and only require minor fender rolling? Correct me if I'm wrong! The car is lowered but i'm not sure on what springs (they're red if that helps lol). I'm a little worried that I'd need to change the rears unless running stupid camber.

17x8+42 wrapped with 225/45
17x9+35 wrapped with 255/40

I'd go higher offset in the rear if you want to do a minimal roll, just to be safe.

 

IMO 9.5" +45 rear would have been a much better choice.

 

The 9.5 +45 is only 3mm less outward poke and weigh 0.5 lbs more.
The 9.0+49 is 14mm less and weighs 0.5 lbs more.

I'm thinking of maybe switching from 255 to 245 in the rear would save that same ~3mm and also give an additional 1.3 lbs of weight savings (1.8 vs the wheel change).

 

I am going 9.5+45 (255) square. They will fit no problem with a roll in the rear. My front is pulled so it's fine there. I am coming from a 9.5+38 (255) that worked with minor rubbing.

 

Yeah those need all the fenders rolled flat and the tabs relocated.

 

Thanks for the comment. Seems like you're the expert in this section.

It's currently on 7.5x17+40 all around (yeah stupid...) so the front Weds will poke +5mm more then current (+26 more then stock). I don't see an issue with rubbing based on how my current fitment looks for the front.
My rear is currently +12 from stock, the Weds on order are +36 from stock (or ~24mm more poke then current).

My fenders might already be rolled from looking at pics on here of stock ones (got the car two weeks ago). I'll try to get some pics up tonight to see if fenders are rolled and tab relocated already.

 

+35 rears need a pull in the rear IMO, assuming you're keeping camber 'reasonable' (ie: ~ 3*)

 

Those size tires will fit any of the 17" OEM wheels without any modifications to the car. No need to drop a lot of money on bling wheels.

+35 is troublesome for the rear. You are much better off with the 9.5+45.
