Velox Wheels
I was looking for rims, of any sort... I have no idea what I want... My favorite rim has always been the iForged Aero, but I don't think they are that sweet on the S2k... Of course most HRE's are beautiful, but they are pretty pricey, and I think they belong more on a European car... Volk is nice, but they are either played out, or not what I was looking for... Fikse is another option... SSR Type C (Competition) is another valide contestor...
But then I found some Velox wheels. I had never heard of these, but they appear to be VERY cheap ($180-$350 each), incredibly strong, and amazingly light (12.5 lbs for 17x7 on one model, and no more than 17 for the others). They look decent, too. I was wondering if anyone had ever used these rims before? The only downside is that they 18'' only comes in 8'' width I believe. I might have that wrong, but I remember it was small.

Beware, there are a lot of Velox knock offs out there, for the real thing expect to pay the $350 you mentioned and not $180.
They are good rims but they don't have a large variety of aplications.
I wouldn't mind getting the PG-5's if they made the right size for our rears.

Velox makes some pretty nice wheels. Good quality too. I think ur main concern should be if they make the wheels in the right offset for the S. I am in the SAME exact boat as u are in. I am also looking for alternative wheel companies. Give Velox a call and see what offsets they offer for the S.
