Default Volk 2-piece torque spec

Does anyone know what the torque spec for the volk wheel face/rim bolts are? I want to take mine apart to have them powder coated.

Also, do I need to keep track of what face goes on what wheel? Or, are they all cut the same? I can lable them but I worry that the shop might mix them up.

Thanks!

just make sure they line with the valve stem. As far as torque, i know back in the days i called HRE bout their torque spec and they said that its 40lbs but the problem that i had was when i applied the same torque at volk racing AV3, the bolt snapped on me at that spec...il probably try to see if you can do 30lbs first then and when you think that it can take 40lbs then do that. I think higher torque spec is better but dont go more than 40lbs.

Thanks Joel,

40 seems like allot to me too. I was told by one person that the Volk spec is 20ft lbs. I searched and searched some more, but I cannot find anything.

40lbs is actually for HRE but some of their wheel rivets are made of titanium which can take that much torque and when i applied the same thing to my AV3, that freaking bolt snapped so i ended torquing them a little less than that. I will try to go with 30lbs just to be on safe side.
