volk gtn suggestions?
Ok ive narrowed it fown to volk GTN gunmetal 18's...I will be lowering with kg race springs about an 1.4 inch.....what size tires should I go with, I do not want the wheel "sticking" out or deal with a lot of rubbing issues..can you tires/wheel guys help, jim? tan? You guys who know this combo well please advise?
Thanks for all the posts guys...I cant keet up reading...lol...but seriously..anyone know where to get a good deal on this set of wheels? Im looking to buy, anyone have em in stock?
Tyler,
Did you get your wheels yet?
Hey I just saw the GTNs in person today. They didn't have the correct sizes for an S2000 in stock, but they said they could get them no prob. The store was called Progressive Image and the guy I spoke to was named Eddie.
I was quoted a price of "around $2600 with tires". I don't know if that's a good price cause I haven't looked around a whole lot. I'm still debating myself whether or not to get these. I really like them but am worried I'm gonna jack 'em up hitting a stupid pot hole or something like that. Oh well, at least they're 2 piece.
Good luck!

Hey thanks for the input.
I have seen them range between 2600 and 2800, so yes 2600 is a good price.
I had a set on order and I backed out...im still unsure about what sizing to go with, and Im awaiting my kg race springs. Ill keep you updated on what happens especially since your considering this same set.

I think I was one of the first to get these on my S2000 in the states. Volk Racing GT-N 18" Gunmetal with a polished lip, wrapped in Nitto NT555 Extreme 225/40/18 Front and 255/35/18 Rears. Rubbing occurs only when going really fast and over a dip. Lowered by Eibachs all around. Bought mine thru Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim for $2500.00 plus accessories like carbon fibre center lug and now red splinedrive lightweight lug nuts. Awesome rim and tires. They last forever, treadwear on the Nitto is 300 compare to the OEM Bridgestone of 140 treadwear.

OK, I think I was one of the first in the states to get these rims on my car (Volk GT-N 18" Gunmetal with a polished lip). Bought mine thru Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim thru a guy name Richard. $2500.00 plus accessories (carbon fibre center lug and red splinedrive lightweight lugs). Nittos last forever (treadwear 300) compared to the Bridgestone OEM (treadwear 140). Love the wheels and tires. Lowered by Eibach and no rubbing unless I am going really fast over a dip.
