CE's are a tad bit lighter than the TE's

I checked out the "Mugenized" thread as advised by neveronlines2k - that Silverstone S looks fantastc sporting the GP's but man, are the TA's nice - they remind me of the black Mugen RNR wheel that had the red lip. Also, is the difference between the TE's and CE's, just size?
Well needless to say, it's a tough decision but as a previous owner of Mugen wheels, I may be a bit biased...
Lets see what happens... but rest assured, pics will follow.
I really like both wheels too. I used to own a set of RNR's (on my EK coupe) and when Volk released the TA I almost picked up a set for the S. If they had been flat black w/ a red lip I would have bought them ASAP.

I saw a set of Bronze Mugen GP's at Inline Four and have been considering selling my Prodrives to pick them up (they look really good in person). After seeing both wheels though I do think the Mugen is a little bit heavier than the CE's.

With the options you are considering you cant really make a bad/wrong choice. I dont think you will be disappointed either way you go.

Good luck

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the Time Attacks are a limited run color scheme for this year only.

I'm throwing these on this week once I get my damn hubcentric rings in!

That is going to look awesome. I hate you!! I can't wait to see them in person

I'm still leaning towards the GP's... maybe if I had red leather seats I might feel more comfortable with the black/red combination of TA's.
Also, I spoke with King yesterday. Seems they are sitting on quite a few sets of the GP wheel and have a special going - 5% off 1 complete set & free shipping - total comes to $2641 (not sure what tax would bring the grand total to unless I was quoted the full price).
Oh, btw, jonathanschley - Thanks VERY MUCH for the offer and great price. I'm sure you wont have any difficulty making a quick sale with sooo many fans of the TA's lurking around these parts.
