Default Want to paint

I'm wanting to paint my rims and calipers. Would I need a special kind of paint to do this? Also, what else would I need to do to be sure that the paint sticks?

just follow any simple prepping process, and for the calipers maybe use a semi-high temp paint. use several coats.

I was too lazy to do and major prep. I just sanded my calipers and spray painted them, I used a quick dry spray paint. It was awesome as I didn't want to wait too long for the paint to dry.

Depending on how hard you drive and what kind of heat you build up in the calipers, if you did not use a high-temp heat paint you might just set them afire...

Ha ha. This sounds fun. In your personal opinions, would a spa yellow s2k with yellow calipers and black rims look good?

tracking a car with painted calipers might peel the paint off (it happened to a forum member). Everyday driving, it's fine.

They are stock, but I painted them black. I've got 3 sets to play around with. AP1

They came with the car. ha ha. Give me a break. I'm leaving one set silver, I've painted one black, any ideas what I should do with the others?
