i recently weigh ap2 v2 rims, tried a number of times on each wheel on the scale.

front 17x7 = 20.6 lbs rear 17x8.5 = 22 lbs

my work xt7 wheels 17x7 21 lbs, 17x8 22.2 lbs

overall, they increase 1lb over stock wheels. but lug nuts will offset some. so i am still happy.

i recently sold them. shipped both front wheels in 1 box. post office receipt shows 47 lb 15.06 oz. the rear wheels' box is 49 lb 15.4 oz.

if front wheel is 18.x lbs each, my box will be 10 lbs?

i cannot say my scale is 100% accurate, but i tried multiple times on each wheel. those are the numbers that i got. hope this helps.

i weighed them on a lab scale calibrated to ISO17025 requirements...

note i did not include the center cap or valve stem...the rim was brand new oem honda so no wheel weights were on the wheel either

you are pretty close. when i switched to winters, i weighed the stock rims; here is what i found (for '06):

front: (17x7): 20.6 lbs
rear: (17x8.5): 21.8 lbs

my scale measures in 0.2 lbs increments.

cheers.

those numbers are close to mine. however, the 8th civic mugen si's 18 inch wheel is only 16.5 lbs. i envy them.

Note that just because a scale has 0.2lb incriments does not mean that it is accurate.

Anyways, I'm not the only person that has reported the weight of the ap2v1 wheel as being 20.5lbs. I remember someone else mentioning 20.5lbs in the thread regarding replica wheels.
