Default What happened?

I got some rear tires this weekend for my stock AP1's. my old ones were realy bald and needed some right away. Pepboys was the closest to me in oceanside and all they had that would somewhat fit were 245/50/16 in the Ventus RHII's well after i got them put on i went to get LA wich is about a 1 1/2 hour drive well at first i didn't notice anything wrong but when i was going about 80mph and switched lanes, i completely lost control of the car and ended up swerving back and forth across 3 lanes of traffic about 3 or 4 times until i regained control, luckly there were no cars on either side of me. That was freaking scary. well later on i noticed that my rear end would sway slightly from side to side at high speeds. oh and another thing when i pulled over i check the tire preassure and its max is 44 and they were at 47 i let out some air and set them to 38 but it still sways. they are H rated so i think the top speed for them is supposed to be around 130 which i didnt even come close to. so is is bad balancing or bad tires?

Pep boys? whats up buddy, you need to drop the tire pressure to 35 psi and you will be fine.

I did drop it down to 35 after i noticed it and it still shook from side to side. I took it back to pepboys here in SD after work yesterday and told them what happened. They check it out and sure enough they were off balance. they said it was only off by.25 but i doubt it, it had to have been more. Well this morning i drove on the hiway for a little bit and it seamed better, but when i got to work i noticed that the tires were put on backwards, the tread if facing the wrong way. What kind of effect will this have? frigging pepboys they suck so bad. two different stores, same horrible service. now i have to go back again

Yeah pep boys is a joke. If it rains you will be all over the road ( if indeed they are rotational tires) If it is dry out you won't notice any difference.

Rotaitional tires are for wet traction.
