225/45-17 front with 245/40-17 rear looks like crap.
Specifically, the fronts look beefier than the rears.
Also, 225/45-17 might be tougher to fit up front than 255/40-17s in back.

I'd probably either go 215/45-17 with 245/40-17 (stock AP2 sizes) or 215/45 with 255/40 (CR sizes).

I'm in need of new tires. Getting ready to hit the dragon on Nov 6th. still have the OEM potenza RE050. I would like to go wider, but not sure if I need to. I do not daily drive the S, but I also do not get to drive the dragon much either, so mostly on back roads.

Do I go with the OEM, potenza RE-11's, or another tire??

please any recommendations....thanks

no....it wont be "stretched" at all...I just dont like the look. I want the tires more flush with the rim so I'll be doing a 225..

heres my fronts with 215/45
