Default Wheel color for highest resale value

So I am considering selling my s2000 because I am going back to school in the fall. When I bought the car 3 of the wheels had been spray pained metalic blue and one is powder coated black. It looks pretty bad in my opinion and I haven't gotten it fixed yet because I really don't care that much and don't want to spend the money to fix it.

However now that I am considering selling her I want to get the best price for her possible, and I think the wheels are deterring from that plan.

So I can get the 4 wheels powder coated for $80 a piece to get them as close to OEM as possible or I can get them black for a bit cheaper.
Now I was assuming the getting them back to OEM would make the best resale value, however some people are telling me they think that making them black will actually make them higher value. Do you have any opinions on what will give the car the highest value? Going to sell on craigslist.

Which wheels are they? Ap1s look tiny and cheap if they are black but Ap2s look pretty good in black.

I would say get them as close to OEM as possible. OEM black painted rims look cheap IMHO. A darker silver would be nice.

Well its a 2004 S2000 which is the first year of being an AP2, however the wheels are not the new updated ap2 wheels. It seems some 2004s were made with the new rims and some with the old rims.

This is an example of what I have http://i1.tinypic.com/rsugk9.jpg

Your car should have AP2 V1s. Do a search to see what they look like. It is common for people to buy AP1 wheels when selling a car as the 16s are much cheaper to replace aftermarket wheels.

Someone swapped those in before selling the car. As cheap as these wheels are, I'd say rattle can them silver and call it a day. You can find a good condition set for under $300, no way I'd put that much money in them.
