I own an '05 with the stock 17's. I'm curious to know how much they weigh if anybody knows. thanks

wanted to add my most current fitment since it's slightly beyond the recommended offset/tire combo on this sticky

Wheel Type: Blitz Type 03
Front: 18x8 +45
Rear: 18x9 +45

Tire: Kumho Ecsta (for street)
Front: 225/40/18
Rear: 255/35/18

Lowered? yes, about 0.75"
Springs: Stock
Shocks: Koni Yellows (sitting on lower perch)

Comments: Had to roll the rear fenders and shave some protruding bumper pieces from the inside slightly. The bumper shaving has no adverse affects on looks, durability or performance. The rolling of the fender.. well...maybe later i may have some problems.

Rubbing is very mild and doesn't happen often. I imagine if went with a 245 rear tire i'd get no rubbing at all. The fronts don't rub at all.

1) At least make an attempt at proper spelling
2) Read post #1 of this thread
3) Turn off CAPS, no need to yell
4) In case you missed #2, yes, it will rub.

I read through all this, used the calculator, got an answer, but would like to verify :)

Facts:
AP1 S2000
lowered on Eibach's

Will SSR VS's with 18x8 fronts, and 18x9 rear with offset of +38 fit on my car without scrubbing?
Second part of the equation is, if they will fit, what is the optimum tyre to use?
215? 225?

You can't use offsets that low unless you want to use narrow tires, and/or roll the fenders, and/or add more camber than you want.

Why bother? Not worth it IMO.

Cheers.

what offset should be used on 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear on an ap1? is there a difference on offset for 18's?

You realize you're posting your question in the very thread that has your answers... right?

Go to the first post in this thread. Your answer is there:
