Default Wheel Fitment Question

I was hoping someone could maybe have a pic of a s2k on 17x9.5 +38 on all four corners with 215/45 (F) 225/45 ®. Yes i understand i could be running a much bigger tire but its my daily so its going the fitment route, & yes i have rolled all sides and had the tab relocated. I have a set of works xd9s coming in and i just happen to have falkens in those sizing.

Any input helps, Thank!

You couldn't find anything with search because it's a DUMB idea and nobody else has done it...I wouldn't think a tire manufacturer would recommend anything less than 235 or 245 on a 9.5" wheel...ruining your car

Not true, I've seen similar although I wouldn't run that much of a stretch.

I have seen another S with 9.5+38 with 235s all around with just a roll + relocated tabs. You would need like -4 degrees of camber or more in rear.

This guy has 245/40 all around: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/797...#entry20367277
You might want to send him a private message to see what all was involved to get that to fit. I think you could have picked a better fitment. You don't have much tire to protect your rim in case you hit a pot hole or something.

I don't mind it to a point, this would be past that point so I agree with you (that it's dumb) but I don't care much what others do to their car. It's their hard earned money if they wanna do whatever to it they can and I won't care

Now if he did 245s all around that could be legit depending on how much camber he had to use

Yes, 245s would be legit. I would think if the rears were rolled as much as possible with like -3 camber they could be done (I know people have before). The fronts would have to be completely pulled, or get some aftermarket 25-30mm fenders. Damn, 215s come on our 7" wheel...and these are 2.5 in wider...

I would try 235s or 245s all around, but it's up to you. For research go to the hellaflush/ low offset threads in the gallery there are many running similar setups 9.5 +38 and +35 and +40 which will still help you
