WHEEL HELP! URGENT!
I have some 18inch VOlk GT-Cs that I got from a friend off his car. It was an Eclipse and I know that S2k need high offset but I never knew why. Now I do. The fronts fit okay but the rear ones, the bolts coming out from the hub doesn't even reach the wheel. It probably reaches but after i put the wheel on, it only shows little bit so there is no room for lug nuts to catch those threads. What do I do in this situation? I have a dillema, either sell the wheels and keep my current ones or try to make it work somehow? If I want to try to make it work, what do I need to do? Is there anyway I can extend the hub and the bolts that the wheel is supposed to fit on? Please help, i really wouldn't want to sell these wheels because it just looks so good. Thanks guys!
BTW, I don't want to sell it so please don't respond by saying "sell it" haha help me make it work! thanks

Let's be realistic here folks, if a set of aftermarket wheel and/or tires aren't the proper size/offsets why downgrade the handling characteristics of the vehicle, not to mention the asthetic value? Let me submit this post now before I go off on a serious rant about aftermarket wheels...
something doesn't sound right. Unless he's running a spacer for a big brake kit, there's no reason why the studs don't extend far enough, offset shouldn't matter, and the centrepiece on the rim where the lug holes are shouldn't be extra extra thick for any reason....UNLESS -
1) the offset and widths are soooo off, that the wheel is touching a suspension component in the back, preventing the wheel from sliding any further onto the hub OR.....
2) the centerbore on the rim is too small, and the rim isn't sitting flush on the hub, or there's a hub centric ring stuck in there that he doesn't know about.
I say sell the rims and buy proper fitting ones, or else we're just gonna see another "my tires suck because I spun out and wrecked my car" thread.

Sounds like an easy fix.
Buy a set of extended bolts and then they'll fit.

Your going to need to explain the problem in more detail or even better take pics.
Someone mentioned that maybe you were hitting the inside of the wheel well.....
Someone else mentioned that the holes are the wrong pattern and not lining up
I mentioned that the studs are not long enough.
If it's the studs they have longer studs that you can replace the OEM ones for.
You punch the OEM ones out and then replace them with the longer wheel studs...NOT longer lug nuts.
If they were given to you......the sell them to someone who can use them and buy wheels that are offset for the car. JMO

It's not hitting inside of the wheel well, it's not hitting the fender. Holes DO line up since they are 5x114.3 bolt pattern. You were right about the studs. It IS the studs not linine up, that's what I was trying to explain i guess it got confusing. I didn't know they have longer studs that I can replace the OEMs with. I will do that , thanks!
Your posts are kind of ambiguous and confusing... are you completely stock? If you don't have a BBK the wheels should fit without much of a problem. The only time you will need longer studs is with a spacer. Before you go off buying more stuff, maybe you should take a picture and show us your problem? I agree with SIIK2NR though, you should sell them to another Eclipse owner and buy them in offsets made for the car.
