Default wheel offset and width?

Hello all, i am a recent owner of an s2000 (AP1) and i am in the market for some new wheels. I am interested in a set of either 16's or 17's.

What rim width (16x? or 17x?) should i consider? (front and back)?
and... what offset should i consider? (front and back)

any information will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks In advance, Allan

First take a look at the Wheel Fitment Guide stickied at the top of the Wheel and Tire forum page. It'll tell you what you need to know with regards to wheel width and offset.

Ideally you'd pick something at least as wide as OEM wheels, with high enough offsets to prevent rubbing.

Cheers.
