Default Wheel PCD redrilling

Hello,

I am getting an e46m3 soon, and after browsing and weighing all the option for track wheels i am realizing that for price, weight, offset and size the best option is to redrill an 17*10 RPF1 which is 5*114.3 to 5*120.

Anyone try it? Is it safe. What was involved. Is it neccesary to fill the old holes? Adapters are not an option as the offsets would be too aggresive to fit.

I would purchase 18x10+25 Enkei NT03+ for E46M. They're cheap, light, and no drilling.

Safe? Probably not.
