wheel question
Looking on the RO_JA web site the 18" wheels have a 40mm offset.
That sounds like rubbing to me, especially if you lower the car. I went with Work Meister S2R, 18x8, 18x9; Toyo T1-S 225/40, 245/35. Could have gone 255 (another .2" OD larger) on the rear but 245 was same OD as OEM S02.
The Work wheels have a 51mm and 63mm (rear) offset. I have been told the car could be lowered by 2" and have no rubbing. (How much of what you hear do you believe?
) My car is not lowered.

Is where I posted photos of the Work wheels and some figures on other wheels.
Knowing what I know now I would say the SSR Type C would work fine and are lighter than the Work S2R.
Do lots of research, check it twice and then purchase.

Work also has a wheel called the Sleeker with very good offsets. Take a look on their web site.

FWIW, my rear tires are .7 inches taller than the fronts and I've never had any problems with the ABS either being a check light or faulty operation (I performed some tests after install and noticed no depreciation in ABS performance). There are tolerances which are acceptable between front and rear sizes when dealing with ABS and most references indicate more than half an inch is pushing it. I guess the tolerances with the Honda system are slighty higher because I've been fine with my diameter difference. Something else more appropriate in this case to ponder. The measuring width on a 245/40/18 tire is usually 8.5 inches so your tread width created by putting that tire on a wheel that is nine inches would increase by 5mm. You're better off doing as Jim suggested and dropping those rears to a 255/35/18 because the measuring width of that sized tire is usually 9-inches and you'll have your 255mm tire in the appropriate size as opposed to a tire that is not only 5mm narrower and taller, but inherently more difficult to rotate from a standing start, making the car slower.
